3 Daughters Brewing

Warehouse Arts District

Leigh and Mike Harting opened the brewery in December 2013 with head brewer Ty Weaver ... the name comes from the question of how to put their three daughters through college. It started in a 1,600 square foot tasting room and now fills a large warehouse the brewery says serves over 250,000 guests a year. I Love the Burg calls it the biggest brewery in St. Pete, with more than 40 taps of beer, cider, hard seltzer and sangria. This is the original location; a Clearwater Beach taproom and an airport bar came in 2022.

Caddy's Treasure Island

Treasure Island · american, seafood

Caddy's calls this one 'The Original', the beach bar on Sunset Beach that the Madeira Beach and Indian Shores rooms grew from. Helene's surge in September 2024 buried it in sand and debris and Milton tore the roof days later; owner Marcus Winters told Tampa Bay 28 'It was like a warzone.' The building was gutted, lifted and rebuilt to current code while the bar ran out of a big tent under a Treasure Island emergency measure Winters credits with saving the business. It reopened in the rebuilt building with a ribbon cutting about 18 months after the storms, around 1 April 2026, with roughly 135 staff back at work.

Casual Clam Seafood Bar & Grill

MLK Street North · seafood, new england seafood

The Casual Clam has served New England seafood on MLK Street North since 1991: whole belly Ipswich clams, a New England style lobster roll and a clam chowder the house says is made fresh daily. There is all-you-can-eat shrimp, grilled, blackened or fried, and picnic benches outside.

Coconut Charlie's Beach Bar & Grill

St. Pete Beach · bar food, seafood, tacos, american

A 2026 visitor review seen in search results says it reopened in February 2026 after hurricane damage.

The Shrimp Store has been on 4th Street North since 1984. Its own history page says the building went up in 1928 as a service station for Model T Fords, later became a laundry with a small seafood market in one corner, and the market's fried shrimp baskets and grouper sandwiches grew into the restaurant. It expanded in 1997.

Fresco's Waterfront Bistro

St. Pete Pier · seafood, american

A deck-wrapped restaurant on the downtown marina seawall near the Pier entrance, in business for more than 20 years. Its future is unsettled: the city's $165 million marina rebuild calls for the building to come down so the seawall beneath it can be replaced, with construction expected to start in late 2026. In April 2026 the city had not said whether Fresco's would return afterward, and council member Gina Driscoll said she had 'a lot of concern about this restaurant being displaced'.

The Falkenstein family from Baltimore bought the site in 1977 and built the restaurant out of what was left of an old hotel. It is modeled on Tokyo's underground listening bars ... a pair of 1972 Klipsch Cornwall speakers behind the bar, two turntables, and records played a full side at a time under oil lanterns. The room is small on purpose: its own profile counts 7 tables and 6 bar stools. Beverage director Noah Sain leads a team of sake sommeliers over what local press calls Florida's largest sake collection, and chef Justin Shwetzer cooks a short rotating menu of gyoza, hamachi, oysters and a noodle dish. It joined the MICHELIN Guide Florida in 2026.

A family-run Greek and seafood room on the corner by the Gulfport pier, open since 2011 and run by Dia and Gus Vartsakis. 'We saw our time, energy, passion, and livelihood destroyed,' Dia Vartsakis told St. Pete Rising. It reopened on August 29, 2025, in time for GeckoFest, and The Gabber's publisher called its return a marker for downtown Gulfport's recovery. Treasure Island · american, seafood

Helene's surge put nine feet of water into this Gulf Boulevard bar. 'We didn't want to put a band-aid on hurricane repairs,' he told Bay News 9. It reopened in late February 2025 with three bars and a new stage, using food trucks while the kitchen was finished.

This is a music venue. It is loud when a show is on.

Founded in 1938 as one of the area's early drive-ins, the Seahorse was given historic designation by the St. Pete Beach Historic Preservation Board in 2024. The Helm Provisions & Coastal Fare

St. Pete Beach · seafood, raw bar, new american

The Butlers also had a South Carolina restaurant hit by the same storm and closed it to stay here: 'We decided to stay here where our roots are.' In July 2026 they moved across the street into the former Verducci's, which never reopened after the storms, nearly doubling their space and adding a private room for 30 to 40. The old room becomes The Scullery, a kitchenware shop with cooking classes. Known for Maine lobster rolls, she-crab soup and Florida sour orange pie.

Owner Josh Cameron of Craft Hospitality Group brought it back on 14 October 2025 in a new 3,200 square foot Grand Central room with 120 seats, 22 of them outside. The old signatures came with it ... buffalo shrimp, bacon parmesan-crusted grouper and raw oysters, with a dollar-oyster 'Aphrodisiac Hour' from 4 to 5pm. The site now names Daniel Walter as executive chef.
