3 Daughters Brewing

Warehouse Arts District

Leigh and Mike Harting opened the brewery in December 2013 with head brewer Ty Weaver ... the name comes from the question of how to put their three daughters through college. It started in a 1,600 square foot tasting room and now fills a large warehouse the brewery says serves over 250,000 guests a year. I Love the Burg calls it the biggest brewery in St. Pete, with more than 40 taps of beer, cider, hard seltzer and sangria. This is the original location; a Clearwater Beach taproom and an airport bar came in 2022.

Birch & Vine

Beach Drive · new american

The ground-floor restaurant of The Birchwood, a hotel in a 1924 Spanish Mission-style building that began as the Lantern Lane Apartments and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Owner Chuck Prather named the hotel for a neighborhood his father developed in Hillsborough County, and a 12-by-24-foot mural of a birch forest covers the south wall. The Canopy rooftop bar is upstairs and a ballroom fills the fourth floor. Prather also runs Teak, Pier Teaki and Driftwood Cafe on the St. Pete Pier.

Caddy's Treasure Island

Treasure Island · american, seafood

Caddy's calls this one 'The Original', the beach bar on Sunset Beach that the Madeira Beach and Indian Shores rooms grew from. Helene's surge in September 2024 buried it in sand and debris and Milton tore the roof days later; owner Marcus Winters told Tampa Bay 28 'It was like a warzone.' The building was gutted, lifted and rebuilt to current code while the bar ran out of a big tent under a Treasure Island emergency measure Winters credits with saving the business. It reopened in the rebuilt building with a ribbon cutting about 18 months after the storms, around 1 April 2026, with roughly 135 staff back at work.

Cage Brewing

Grand Central District · pizza

Twenty taps of beer, wine and kombucha and a stage that the brewery says has full bands most nights of the week. Sister kitchen Kraken Joe's Pizza cooks in an oak-fired brick oven on site. I Love the Burg notes the covered and uncovered seating and the arcade games.

Cybel began as a catering company and still is one; the permanent dining room opened in late 2024. The kitchen is open, and the Chef's Bar beside it serves 8 to 9 courses that are not on the dining room menu for $275 a person before drinks and tax. A private dining room seats up to 14 at one custom wooden table. MICHELIN's inspectors singled out the pastas, and the DMO quotes the guide praising its 'boldness and flavor in spades'.

Opened in August 2024 in the space that was 400 Beach Seafood & Tap House. Shawn and Jeanna Damkoehler bought that restaurant in 2021, ran it under the old name until 2023, then rebuilt it with the design firm AvroKO around Aesop's fable of Juno and the peacock. St. Pete Catalyst reported it as the only Florida restaurant serving Dean & Peeler steaks, dry-aged 45, 65 or 90 days. The Butlers also had a South Carolina restaurant hit by the same storm and closed it to stay here: 'We decided to stay here where our roots are.' In July 2026 they moved across the street into the former Verducci's, which never reopened after the storms, nearly doubling their space and adding a private room for 30 to 40.
