A French bakery cafe selling baguette sandwiches and quiches. It was shut for about three months after the 2024 storms, and neighbors raised more than $25,000 to help it reopen.
Over 50 St. Pete: St. Pete Beach
A separate city on the barrier island, strung along Gulf Boulevard with Corey Avenue as its old downtown. The 2024 hurricanes hit it hard. Listings written before October 2024 are often wrong here, so every venue on this page was checked against 2026 sources.
A grill and a beach bar on the sand, attached to a hotel on Gulf Boulevard, with seafood, tacos and frozen drinks and live music every day by its own account. I Love the Burg recommended it to parents for the soft sand, hammocks and children's options on the menu. A 2026 visitor review seen in search results says it reopened in February 2026 after hurricane damage.
Live music some nights. Go before the band starts if you want to talk.
A walk-up pizza window that opened on July 3, 2026 next to The Luce Hotel, the Marriott property that replaced the storm-closed Postcard Inn. The Gabber reported it already had expansion plans.
The beach bar of the Beachcomber resort, with a wooden deck, paved walks down to the sand and two stages ... an open-air one by day and an indoor one late. Southern Living put it on its list of the 12 best Florida beach bars in 2024. I Love the Burg's May 2026 beach bar guide notes it had recently reopened. Thursday is Boots & Bikinis night from 8pm.
This is a music venue. It is loud when a show is on.
The pink breakfast and lunch cafe at the corner of Corey Avenue and Gulf Boulevard. WTSP covered its reopening after the 2024 storms while it was still working through permit problems.
The dinner room inside the Pink Palace, which has stood on the beach since 1928. The hotel was damaged in the 2024 storms and came back in stages; in March 2026 it announced the end of a renovation that refreshed its ground-floor rooms. Maritana now cooks Spanish-leaning Gulf seafood, with local redfish and a Wagyu tomahawk on the menu, under executive chef Alexander Reyes. The hotel's Beacon Pool Bar is the room day visitors use for a drink on the beach.
The brewery calls itself the first and only microbrewery on St. Pete Beach. It runs a 5-barrel system with 18 or more house beers and also distills vodka, rye, bourbon and agave spirits on site. There is a scratch kitchen, an outdoor stage and a patio where dogs and kids are welcome.

A Tampa barbecue room that first drew its crowd at 1613 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and opened this full-service St. Pete Beach restaurant in February 2026, with servers, a bar pouring beer, wine and sangria, and house lemonade. I Love the Burg calls it Southern-influenced smoked meat done in house, led by ribs and chopped brisket, and flags the fried oysters and a blue velvet cake. The space was Fo'Cheezy Twisted Meltz before. The Tampa Bay Times included it in its March 2026 feature on Black-owned barbecue.
The dining room is built around a 33,500 gallon aquarium that fills a wall. The own site describes Floribbean cooking and Gulf seafood, a sports bar with a deck, a boutique, and live entertainment every night on an indoor stage. Suncoast Family Fun lists it for children because of the tank.

A Gulf Boulevard seafood room that I Love the Burg describes as owned by a local fisherman, known for fresh fish and dry-aged steaks.
Heidi and Michael Butler opened The Helm in 2021 at 7736 Blind Pass Road as a raw bar, restaurant and seafood market. Helene's surge wrecked it in September 2024 and it reopened on February 21, 2025. The Butlers also had a South Carolina restaurant hit by the same storm and closed it to stay here: 'We decided to stay here where our roots are.' In July 2026 they moved across the street into the former Verducci's, which never reopened after the storms, nearly doubling their space and adding a private room for 30 to 40. The old room becomes The Scullery, a kitchenware shop with cooking classes. Known for Maine lobster rolls, she-crab soup and Florida sour orange pie.
A beach dive on a wide stretch of sand with tiki huts, palm trees, volleyball nets, pool tables and sports on TV. I Love the Burg's 2026 guide calls it one of the most scenic beach bars in America and mentions a rubber duck river.
Go early. It turns into a late-night spot later in the evening.
