3 Daughters Brewing

Warehouse Arts District

Leigh and Mike Harting opened the brewery in December 2013 with head brewer Ty Weaver ... the name comes from the question of how to put their three daughters through college. It started in a 1,600 square foot tasting room and now fills a large warehouse the brewery says serves over 250,000 guests a year. I Love the Burg calls it the biggest brewery in St. Pete, with more than 40 taps of beer, cider, hard seltzer and sangria. This is the original location; a Clearwater Beach taproom and an airport bar came in 2022.

Allelo

Beach Drive · mediterranean, aegean, small plates

A Mediterranean and Aegean small-plates room that calls itself 'your neighborhood spot for small plates, good times and lots of wine'. Husband-and-wife owners Shawn and Jeanna Damkoehler opened it first, then opened Juno & the Peacock a block north in 2024. I Love the Burg's staff singled out its brunch in June 2026.

Bacchus Wine Bistro

Beach Drive · french bistro, charcuterie, french

A French wine bistro a block off Beach Drive with a menu that changes by season, from French onion soup and foie gras torchon to tuna carpaccio and beef tartare. It pours nearly 100 wines chosen by sommeliers and builds charcuterie boards to order.

Bandit Coffee Co.

Grand Central District · coffee, pastries

A locally owned roaster and cafe on Central Avenue since 2016. It runs a full espresso bar and a kitchen all day, bakes its bread and pastries in-house, and also sells natural wine by the bottle and beer. There is no WiFi, by design, and a dog-friendly walk-up window handles online order pickup. Coffee is roasted every Tuesday and shipped every Wednesday.

Casita Taqueria

Grand Central District · mexican, tacos

Don and Gwen opened Casita after bonding over travel and planning vacations around what each city had to eat, which is how they landed on Mexican food. Corn tortillas are made in-house and the meats are slow-braised. Nearly fifteen years on there are three St. Pete locations ... Central Ave, 4th Street and 66th Street.

Grace Restaurant

Pass-a-Grille · new american, seafood

A dinner-only room on historic 8th Avenue run by chef and owner Jason Lutzk, a Tampa native and Culinary Institute of America graduate. The menu changes with the season and adds weekly specials, with ingredients bought from Tampa Bay suppliers. Florida Trend gave it a Golden Spoon for Best New Restaurant. There is a private dining room.

Maritana at The Don CeSar

St. Pete Beach · seafood, spanish

The dinner room inside the Pink Palace, which has stood on the beach since 1928. The hotel was damaged in the 2024 storms and came back in stages; in March 2026 it announced the end of a renovation that refreshed its ground-floor rooms. Maritana now cooks Spanish-leaning Gulf seafood, with local redfish and a Wagyu tomahawk on the menu, under executive chef Alexander Reyes. The hotel's Beacon Pool Bar is the room day visitors use for a drink on the beach.

McMullen Fish House

4th Street South · seafood, fish market

Brothers Josh and James McMullen run a fish house whose roots go back to 1981 on 5th Avenue South. They grew up fishing with their father and grandfather and sell locally caught mullet, grouper and other fish alongside live bait and tackle. I Love the Burg listed it in February 2025 as a fish market with a food truck, and the family says a neighborhood cafe is planned.

Ruya

Grand Central District · moroccan coffee, mint tea, wine

Owner Sarah Aitcadi, whose family is Moroccan, opened Ruya on 11 October 2025 after years of travel through Europe and the Middle East. The name plays on the Arabic word for vision or dream. It is a day-into-night cafe ... Moroccan spiced coffee from a French press, mint tea served to share, sangria and wine ... using beans from St. Pete roaster Look Alive Coffee. The 1,650 square foot room was the If I Brewed the World microbrewery, and there is a pergola-shaded courtyard out back.

The Helm Provisions & Coastal Fare

St. Pete Beach · seafood, raw bar, new american

Heidi and Michael Butler opened The Helm in 2021 at 7736 Blind Pass Road as a raw bar, restaurant and seafood market. Helene's surge wrecked it in September 2024 and it reopened on February 21, 2025. The Butlers also had a South Carolina restaurant hit by the same storm and closed it to stay here: 'We decided to stay here where our roots are.' In July 2026 they moved across the street into the former Verducci's, which never reopened after the storms, nearly doubling their space and adding a private room for 30 to 40. The old room becomes The Scullery, a kitchenware shop with cooking classes. Known for Maine lobster rolls, she-crab soup and Florida sour orange pie.

Trophy Fish

Grand Central District · seafood

A 'bait shop chic' fish house whose menu changes with the catch of the day ... snapper, grouper, tuna from local waters, simply prepared. It takes no reservations and tells guests to come early because the fish can run out. The bar invented its own category, 'boat drinks', and the site says the Tampa Bay Times named it Best Cocktail List in 2019. A second Trophy Fish later opened in Tampa's Seminole Heights.
